From the East
Take Interstate 72 from Illinois. Take Exit 157 and follow the brown signs
From the West
Take US Highway 36. Take Exit 157 and follow the brown signs

Parking
There is no charge to park in any public parking areas downtown.
Vehicle Parking
There are several parking options for the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum.
- The Interpretive Center parking lot at the corner of Main and North Streets.
- City parking lots located at Main and Bird Streets or the 300 Block of Main Street.
- On-street parking.
- Parking lot behind the Mark Twain Museum Gallery off Center Street or Broadway.
- Parking lot at the Riverfront area accessible from Center Street or Broadway.
NOTE: During festivals and major events, some of these areas are closed to public parking.
Bus Parking
Bus or RV parking is located at the base of Center Street just past the railroad tracks adjacent to the river. Buses may drop off people outside the Interpretive Center or Mark Twain Museum Gallery. There is also ample parking on the south main street outside the flood wall. This would be a short walk to the Mark Twain Museum Gallery.
