The Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum’s Music Under the Stars free concert series is held every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. outside Twain’s Boyhood Home through the months of June through August. Join us for a wide range of genres of music including; Swing, Country, Rock, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, Southern Rock, Americana, Big Band, and more! Come hungry and support area not-for-profits who serve as food vendors at each concert. We’re bringing the bands every Thursday evening, rain or shine, thanks to a partnership with the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department which donates the use of the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center in case of inclement weather. Music Under the Stars is sponsored in part by the Missouri Arts Council, Hannibal Realty, Quincy Herald-Whig, Continental Cement, Dr. Lent Johnson and Dr. Sandra Ahlum, Priscilla Foreman and local merchants and individuals.
