Music Under the Stars – August 3, 2023

Country music artist Becky Denton returns to Music Under the Stars on August 3.
Born in Hannibal and raised in Paris, Missouri, Becky has made her presence known in Nashville, producing new music with a bevy of talented musicians and songwriters. Several of Becky’s most recent songs were produced by Brent Rader (Joe Nichols, Jo Dee Messina), and she continues to collaborate with her husband, Nashville touring and session drummer, Will Denton (Tracy Lawrence, LeAnn Rimes, Steven Curtis Chapman, DC Talk). Becky’s release, “Take Me Back to Tybee,” co-written by Becky, Will, and fellow songwriter friend, Bill Whyte, received widespread airplay in the Tropical-Americana radio format, and it climbed to #1 on the Weekly Trop 40 Chart. Becky can also add international singing star to her list of accomplishments. Her song, “I Love Dolly,” went to #18 on the Australian Country Radio charts, and her single “Two Bags, One Beach” was the most downloaded song on Australia’s Country Radio Singles #210 Compilation CD. Her album, “Fire & Grace,” won the 18th Annual Independent Music Awards in the Country Album category. Becky has since released more new music, including a duet, “Love Don’t Care” feat. Brent Rader, “Sanday” and “Ain’t No Ocean In Missouri.”
