Gary Schoenberger and the Perfect Strangers

August 24, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Gary Schoenberger and the Perfect Strangers is a folk and country based band. Schoenberger is a vocalist, percussionist and guitarist who writes many of his own songs. He has a rich background in music, playing in bands from rock to Motown to blues to southern rock to country. His double album, Broken, was released in 2017 and is a collection of 13 original songs telling the stories of life old and new, happy and sad, love lost and found. Life stories and scars and a road well traveled.

Through his career he has performed with the band Main Event, formerly YESSIR, opening for greats such as the Ozark Mt. Daredevils at the VP Fair under the Gateway Arch.

June 12, 2012 Gary was involved in a catastrophic horseback riding accident which left him paralyzed from the neck down for almost 3 months. With help from God, a great medical team and his wife, Mandy, He has worked his way back to performing again.

Schoenberger has once again reinvented himself as a folk and country singer, writing and performing songs from inspiration drawn from his life experiences.

“My goal as a song writer is to touch people, if just a moment.”
“Oh yea…I hope to get back to riding horses again real soon.”

The Salvation Army will be selling hotdogs, chips, and water, and the guys from the Great River Brewing Company are back with all their micro brews.
