Mark Twain Words & Music is an album produced as a fundraiser for the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum in Hannibal, MO and the Mark Twain House in Hartford, CT. It is a combination of narration, some direct from Mark Twain’s works as well as some biographical information about his life, and music in a variety of styles focusing on Americana and bluegrass. These two disks will take you through the highlights of Mark Twain’s life with beautiful songs from some of your favorite artists. Alongside the narrators Jimmy Buffett, Garrison Keillor, and Clint Eastwood you have the musical stylings of Emmylou Harris, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Rhonda Vincent, Bradley Walker, Carl Jackson, The Church Sisters, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Marty Raybon, Val Storey, Vince Gill, Joe Diffie, and Ricky Skaggs.
