Music Under the Stars 2020
Join us for the 14th season of outdoor concerts sponsored by the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum held every Thursday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm on Historic Hill Street right outside Mark Twain’s Boyhood Home. All concerts are provided free to the public through the support of local and area businesses, individuals and through the Missouri Arts Council. Area not-for-profits provide food at each concert for a nominal charge and beverages are available for purchase from area businesses.
The Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum will follow social distancing guidelines at Music Under the Stars. Families and/or small groups are asked to sit 6 feet from others, there will be no seating allowed adjacent to the fences or within 2 feet of all walkways. Hill Street, between N. Main and N. 3rd Street will be closed to all traffic and parking from 5:00 pm to 10:00 p.m. to allow for additional seating. We ask audiences to not approach the bands and please feel free to wear face masks.
Music Under the Stars summer concerts are provided free to the public by the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, the Missouri Arts Council, BASF Chemical Corporation, US Bank, Mina Brown, Colony Brands, Hannibal Magazine, Luck, Humphreys & Associates, Independent’s Service Company and many Hannibal area businesses and individuals.

Steppin’ Back returns to Music Under the Stars in summer 2020. Playing all your favorites from the 50’s through the 90’s.
Food provided by the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce who will be serving grilled steak sandwiches, hamburgers, chips, soda and water.

Eric McKay Band
A cover band with “genuine, American music”. The Eric McKay Band plays a unique blend of outlaw country, classic country, southern rock and blues. Concert begins at 7:00 pm.

Her album “Fire and Grace” received top honors at the 18th Annual American Music Awards as Independent Country Artist Album of the Year. Becky will be returning to her roots, born in Hannibal and raised in Paris, Missouri on June 11th at Music Under the Stars. She spends most of her time in Nashville and has received numerous awards for her artistry.

Catfish Willie Band
The Catfish Willie Band is a high-energy Southern Roots and Blues band led by guitar virtuoso front man, Catfish Willie. Catfish Willie has shared the stage with such musical greats as the Allman Bros. Band, Buddy Guy, Sheryl Crow, Derek Trucks Band and ZZ Top to name a few.

Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats
Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats is led by Austin, Texas born and raised, Hudson Harkins. Harkins, a songwriter, singer, drummer and bandleader blends influences of Texas rockin’ blues, country, rockabilly, and swing, with St. Louis’s soul and blues. Hudson and the Hoo Doo cats also perform many original songs.
