November 5, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join author, a tour company operator, and lifelong Missouri native, Dea Hoover, for a talk on her new book, “Hannibal, A Walk Through History” at the Mark Twain Museum Gallery on Saturday, November 5th at 4:00 p.m.
Take a walk with Hoover as she guides you through the history of America’s Hometown. Immortalized by the writing of Hannibal’s resident, Samuel Clemens, Dea leads you through the paths of childhood adventures that Mark Twain shared through his stories of Tom and Huck.
Hoover, who has been featured in the newspaper, radio, magazines, and on television, including on The History Channel’s “The States”, will share her stories during this one-hour free presentation.
Dea Hoover will be available to autograph copies of her book “Hannibal: A Walk Through Time” as well as her 2021 book “STL Scavenger: The Ultimate Guide to St. Louis’s Hidden Treasures” preceding and following the book talk. Both books are available for purchase at the Mark Twain Museum Gallery Gift Shop.
Reservations are not required but encouraged by calling the Museum Office at 573-221-9010 extension 401.
