“Our Interpretative Center started its life as a pizza restaurant. Hence the stucco walls and bay windows. The Mark Twain Museum acquired the property and opened the building as part of the museum in 1983. Inside you will share the experiences Sam Clemens had as a boy that he used later as Mark Twain while writing Tom Sawyer and other stories.”
