“Missouri sculptor Don Wiegand prepared this statue of Mark Twain for the 150th anniversary of his birth in 1985. This captures Mark Twain late in life when he did much of his writing while lying in bed. One of these statues was presented to President Ronald Reagan in a White House ceremony.”
