“This
type of support means a great deal to us,” said Museum director, Dr. Cindy
Lovell. “The downward economy has
impacted our operations budget, and the continued support of the Clifford
Willard Gaylord Foundation will help to ensure programs in the new year.”
The
Museum is celebrating 2010 as “The Year of Mark Twain” as it marks the 100th
anniversary of Twain’s death and the 175th anniversary of his
birth. Plans are underway for various
programs and events throughout the year.
