Description

The Mark Twain Museum's "First Friday Film Festival" continues this Friday at 7:30 p.m. and runs through 2010 to celebrate "The Year of Mark Twain."  On the First Friday of each month the Museum is offering a film version of one of Twain's works.

On Friday evening The Prince and the Pauper will be featured. This story is one of Twain's best tales of switched identities and was a favorite of his daughters.

The film festival series is part of fundraising efforts to grow the endowment - the "10 by 10" campaign to raise $10 million by the end of 2010.  The Museum believes that offering this type of fun event is a great way to involve the community in the grass roots efforts to reach the endowment goal.

A donation of $10 for adults$5 for children 12 and under is suggested, but not required.  Please make your reservations by calling 573-221-9010, ext. 401. Don’t forget your favorite movie snacks!
